Made with the true yerba buena (the good herb), a wild mint that grows throughout northern New Mexico's verdant mountain valleys. You can see it in the bottle! We also add fresh, hand-squeezed lemon.

Mullein was originally a European plant; some people believe that it was brought to the New World by Franciscan monks. It was thought the herb kept evil spirits away. Today, it grows wild amid fields and trees at La Carreta farm. We dry the long, broad, green leaves outdoors, and then crush them gently to make our tea leaves. 
This is a smooth, mild-tasting tea that enhances the flavors of the foods you eat. It's so smooth, in fact, that you don't have to add honey or sugar to enjoy it. I like to sip it while relaxing under the trees in my apple orchard.
